Business and Administration Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

Course Overview

This programme focuses on developing the skills necessary to manage people and processes within an office or administration context. As part of their training, employees will be required to solve business problems, store and retrieve information, evaluate internal customer service and develop relationships with colleagues.

This Programme has two potential pathways:

Learners can choose to focus on dealing with customers or producing documents within this programme.

Courses are roll on roll off basis.

Sample of programme content:

Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

This programme includes the following mandatory units:

• Managing and evaluating your own performance in a business environment

• Working in a business environment

• Solving business problems

• Researching Information

• Storing and retrieving information

• Working with other people

• Communicating in a business environment

• Delivering, monitoring and evaluating customer service to internal customers

 

The Customer Service pathway includes the mandatory units plus the following:

• Designing and producing documents

• Monitoring and solving customer service problems

 

The ITQ pathway includes the mandatory units plus the following:

• Evaluating and improving your own performance

• Design and produce documents in a business environment

• Word processing software

Entry Requirements

Preferably A-C GCSE in Maths and English,  if not learners will study Functional Skills English and Maths alongside their apprenticeship.

Learning & Assessment Methods

Assessment and delivery will be undertaken by an assessor who will observe you in the workplace, obtain written statements from managers, one to one work, coursework and portfolio building and collecting of evidence of work completed.

Qualifications Gained

Business and Administration NVQ Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

Functional Skills (if GCSE English and Maths have not previously been achieved)

Progression Opportunities

Learners may wish to  progress on to study higher level qualifications, progress in their current role or career.

If you are 16-18 years old you do not have to pay tuition fees*.
